1. How to Book

Bookings may be made by telephone or by email. A Booking form should be completed and returned to confirm your requirements.

Bookings are deemed to be confirmed on receipt of a completed Booking Form. Payment becomes due 30 days from invoice date. Methods of Payment are given below. Please ensure you have read, understood and accepted the Conditions of Booking before you submit a booking. By completing and returning a completed booking form you will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted them.

2. Methods of Payment

Payment can be made by BACS or by Cheque. Invoice numbers must be quoted on all payments made.
An invoice will be raised at the time of booking. Invoices must be settled within 30 days of the invoice date.

2.1. Certificates

Jayne Joseph Training Ltd reserve the right to withhold certificates until payment is received in full.
For Certificate posting once course is delivered please ensure prompt payment.
Accredited courses take longer to process and Certificates will be issued around two weeks following training.

VAT – There is no VAT applicable on our courses.

3. Privacy Policy

We do not store credit or debit card details, nor do we share customer details with any third parties

4. Cancellation Policy

Bookings can only be cancelled in writing by post or by email. Cancellation fees are charged at the discretion of Jayne Joseph Training Ltd (hereinafter JJT Ltd) as follows: Cancellations up to 10 working days of the training start date will be charged the full course fee. Cancellations from 11 up to 15 working days of the training start date will be charged 50% of the course fee. Cancellations 16 working days or more in advance of the course will incur no charge.

5. Delegate Submission Policy

For courses certificated by an awarding body delegates are required to bring photographic proof of ID. For FIRST AID AT WORK REQUALIFICATION courses, delegates are required to prove the validity of their First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification and must bring their original First Aid at Work Certificate with them on their first day of training. It is possible to substitute an alternative delegate on any place booked at no additional cost. JJT Ltd do not guarantee that a delegate will achieve a pass result on the course taken. Where delegates require additional support, whether this is due to language, dyslexia or for any other reason, this should be advised to JJT Ltd so that appropriate support can be in place to ensure equal opportunities.

6.1. Course Transfer Policy

A confirmed booking may be transferred to another of JJT’s courses, availability permitting, providing that course takes place within three months of the date originally booked. JJT is not obliged to ensure suitable alternatives are available. Requests to transfer should be made in writing by post or email.

6.2. Cancellations

Cancellations up to 10 working days of the training start date will be charged the full course fee. Cancellations from 11 up to 15 working days of the training start date will be charged 50% of the course fee. Cancellations 16 working days or more in advance of the course will incur no charge. Any such fees due will revert to a cancellation fee in respect of the original booking if the transferred booking is subsequently cancelled. A booking can only be transferred on one occasion. Subsequent transfers will be treated as cancellations.

7. Course Content and Programme Schedule Policy

JJT Ltd reserves the right to alter the dates of a booked course if there are any unforeseen circumstances such as illness or in the event of an accident. In the unfortunate event this should happen an alternative date suitable for both parties will be offered.

JJT Ltd reserves the right to alter or amend the advertised content of any course without notice in order to continuously provide a high quality service, changes in legislation, updates in professional practice or due to circumstances beyond our control. JJT Ltd will not be liable for any losses or expenses, including consequential, arising from any such alterations or amendments to the programme content and schedule including cancellation.

8. Facilities

JJT Trainers are only able to deliver training in a suitable environment. For first aid courses this includes enough space for practising and assessment with the CPR manikins. Our Trainers should be informed of your emergency evacuation procedures and any other relevant information.
