Basic Life Support (BLS) in Manchester

Course overview

The QNUK Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support (Adults and Children) RQF qualification is intended for those looking to undertake a qualification in basic life support. This may be for personal development, however is more likely for those that are required to undertake annual basic life support training, for example those working in a GP or Dentist surgery.

As first aiders may need to give CPR, learners must be physically capable of getting to the floor.

Training is delivered in a practical way, encouraging participation and ensuring new skills and knowledge are remembered. Trainers delivering this qualification are registered with our chosen awarding body Qualifications Network UK (QNUK).
All trainers hold required teaching and first aid qualifications with proven experience in delivering effective training.

The Basic Life Support (BLS) course is recognised as a Level 2 qualification on the RQF framework and is regulated by OfQual.

Course content

The course covers the following key areas:

Accredited training – What this means for you as an Employer …

Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requires employers to select competent training providers.
How do you know that the training company you choose is competent?
HSE states when you select a training provider registered with an awarding body, there is no further due diligence on the part of the employer to carry out checks for competence.  Jayne Joseph Training are a registered training provider with Qualifications Network UK (QNUK), so you can be assured that your employees receive training to the excellent standards that are required.
(*HSE: Selection of a competent first aid training organisation – Due diligence).
