Responsible Persons Duties under the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order
Our Responsible Persons Fire Safety training course covers both theory and practice. This ensures that key people in your business can effectively carry out the checks and procedures required as a responsible person under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRFSO).
Training is delivered in an interactive way with group work, discussion and practical exercises. A walk round of your premises (or part of) will be carried out looking at aspects such as visual inspections of fire extinguishers and evacuation chairs where applicable.
One key area that is often overlooked is the requirement for Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEP’s) for employees and visitors. We will be looking at how the plans are completed in a person centred way. A range of disabilities will be discussed along with adaptations and control measures.
Learners will gain a practical understanding of the checks and recording expected to comply with current legislation and best practice.
