Emergency First Aid Training Courses in Manchester
This is the most popular first aid qualification. The QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) qualification is the choice of many employers in Greater Manchester to ensure they are meeting the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations. The Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is ideal for those employers that need to meet the minimum requirement of first aid regulations, typically those working in shops, offices and other low risk environments.
For higher risk industries e.g. tree felling, use of chain saws an additional add on unit can be taken covering catastrophic bleeding with practice in application of a CAT tourniquet and use of haemostatic dressings.
Training is delivered in a practical way, encouraging participation and ensuring new skills and knowledge are easily recalled. Trainers delivering this qualification are registered with our chosen awarding body Qualifications Network UK (QNUK) and hold required teaching qualifications, First Aid qualifications and are experienced in their field.
Our Emergency First Aid at Work training courses are recognised as a Level 3 qualification on the RQF framework and are regulated by OfQual.
Accredited training – What this means for you as an Employer …
The HSE requires employers to select competent training providers.
How do I know that a training company is competent to offer first aid courses?
The HSE state that when you select a training provider registered with an awarding body, there is no further due diligence on the part of the employer to carry out checks for competence. Jayne Joseph Training are a registered training provider with Qualifications Network UK (QNUK), so you can be assured that your employees receive training to the excellent standards that are required.
(*HSE: Selection of a competent first aid training organisation – Due diligence).
